Using local, organic (where possible) and quality produce from trusted and conscientious suppliers, Lettuce & Lovage is a young but dedicated and passionate enterprise made up of a group of 4 key members.
Jo Trendall
has worked as a front of house manager in restaurants for 10 years. She started in Cape Town as a waitress and went on to manage and operate a small chain of independent restaurants in South London. After some time working in corporate hospitality, she is now a freelance restaurant consultant, with her biggest client being Riverford Organics. She is the founder of Lettuce & Lovage Company. Jo’s strength is in organisation, and she particularly enjoys helping in the structuring and execution of weddings and large events.
Jemma Correll
started working in hospitality at the early age of 13 – washing dishes in a friend of her family’s restaurant. Working through university in pubs and restaurants in Bristol, she realised that catering and hospitality were to be her destiny.. After spending some time in Leeds Jemma moved back to Bristol to become Maitre ‘d at the ground breaking Bordeaux Quay restaurant on the Harbourside. She went on to become Restaurant Manager then Events Manager before being head hunted by Ocean Bar and Restaurant to manage their successful site on Whiteladies Road in Clifton.
